Abstract Submission

Submit a short abstract (150–200 words and 2–4 keywords) through The Combustion Institute website .

Paper Submission

Submit a full paper (ten-page limit) through The Combustion Institute website .

Submission steps:

  1. Log in your account
  2. Click on the “Submissions” tab
  3. Click on “edit” next to your accepted abstract submission
  4. Look for “Upload your Presentation PDF Submission File” and upload your paper PDF.

Only electronic submissions in PDF will be accepted. Submitted papers must be written in English, must be no longer than ten pages in 12-point font, must render without error using standard PDF viewing tools, must print on US-Letter-sized paper, and must include the author names and affiliations on the first page.

Note that at least one author of each paper accepted for presentation must be registered to attend the meeting.

Poster Instructions

The maximum allowable size is 3’x4’ in landscape orientation. Otherwise, the format is open.

  • Abstract deadline: December 13, 2018. (11:59PM EDT)

  • Paper acceptance notification: January 7, 2019.

  • Paper deadline: January 31, 2019. (11:59PM EDT)

  • WiPP deadline: January 31, 2019. (11:59PM EDT)

  • Early Career Investigator Award deadline: February 1, 2019.

  • WiPP notification: February 8, 2019.

  • Early registration deadline: February 20, 2019.

  • Art competition deadline: March 8, 2019.

  • Full registration deadline: March 17, 2019.

  • Meeting opens: March 24, 2019.
