Extended Abstract Submission Opens: 6 January 2020

Submit an extended abstract in PDF format. This is a slight change from the process for previous years, as there is no longer a full paper submission following the acceptance of a shorter abstract as in earlier meetings. Submissions should be at least two pages (approximately 1000 words), and can include figures, references, etc.

Please submit your extended abstracgt through The Combustion Institute website .

Only electronic submissions in PDF will be accepted. Submitted extended abstracts must be written in English, must be at least two pages in length in 12-point font, must render without error using standard PDF viewing tools, must print on US-Letter-sized paper, and must include the author names and affiliations on the first page. The extended abstract will be made available to conference attendees.

Note that at least one author of each paper accepted for presentation must be registered to attend the meeting.

Submission steps:

  1. Log in your account
  2. Click on the “Submissions” tab
  3. Select the event name from the Available Event pulldown menu
  4. Complete necessary fields
  5. Use tab “quick submission” to upload and submit your extended abstract in PDF.

  • Extended abstract deadline: February 12, 2019. (11:59PM EST)

  • Notification of presentation: February 20, 2020. (11:59PM PST)

  • Last day to book discounted hotels: February 21, 2020. (11:59PM PDT)

  • Early registration deadline: February 28, 2020. (11:59PM EDT)

  • Student travel award deadline: February 28, 2020. (11:59PM PDT)

  • Draft program posted: March 4, 2020. (11:59PM PDT)
